A Five-Day National Level Librarian Development Program (LDP) on Emerging Trends, Technologies and Methods for Effective Librarianship.
Key objectives of the LDP are:

Introduction to innovative technologies
Participants will be introduced to various innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, augmented reality, data analytics, and their applications in library settings.

Hands-on training
The LDP will offer hands-on training sessions where participants can gain practical experience using different technology tools and techniques. This could involve interactive sessions, demonstrations, and exercises to facilitate learning and skill development.

Integration with librarianship
The LDP will focus on how these technologies can be integrated into different aspects of librarianship, including collection management, information retrieval, user services, digital preservation, and academic research support.

- From Airport
- From Bus Stand
- Take a bus to the Sanquelim bus stand from the Panjim bus stand. During regular business hours, finding a bus won’t be an issue because they depart every 15 minutes. The fare from Panjim to Sanquelim is around Rs 30.
- Take a motorbike pilot to the college from the Sanquelim bus stop, which is 2 kilometres away. From the bus stop, bike pilots will transport you to the college for Rs 50 per person.
- To get to GIM, you can take prepaid taxis or Autos
