GIM Library
Welcome to Goa Institute of Management Library, your one-stop store for all your informational needs. The Library has a well-designed, cutting-edge infrastructure supporting your reading and research needs. Resources for learning and knowledge, both in print and digital form, are well-equipped and stocked in the library. The resources are provided with the most recent editions of databases, books, journals, periodicals, e-journals, and publications from well-known international publishers. The library’s primary focus areas are online and digital learning resources, which may be accessed 24/7. The library is fully automated with the help of the KOHA – Integrated Library Management System, which further includes smart cards, RFID drop boxes, self-check-in and self-check-out security gates. In addition to searching for books using the WEB-OPAC, students can reserve books, renew them, construct virtual shelves for their reading, and recommend new books. Our library has planned to use Dspace, an Open Source Software, to construct GIM’s Intellectual Repository under the name “GIM-IDR”. To turn the library into the centre of academic and learning activities, many more exciting initiatives are planned to be implemented in the near future.

- All housekeeping operations are automated using state-of-the-art Library Management System.
- RFID Technology provide much needed security and self-supported borrowing facility for the users.
