GIM Library
The Library and Information Centre at the heart of the Campus, provides an ideal environment for intellectual inquiry with its multiple Study Spaces, Research Assistance; and Reading, Learning and Instructional Resources. The State-of-the-Art ICT facilities established provide much needed services to support excellence in Teaching, Learning, Research and Extension. The User focused facilities and services provide seamless access to resources and to evaluate Scholarly information to learn and create new Knowledge.
From a reading room to a knowledge centre
The Library has grown alongside the Institute, and the pace changed when GIM moved to its own campus. Three moments explain where it stands today.
1993
The Library is established as a modest facility serving GIM's first cohorts of management students.
2009
GIM relocates to the 50-acre eco-friendly Sanquelim campus. Purpose-built space accelerates the shift to a modern, technology-enabled library.
Today
A fully automated, user-centred research hub: KOHA and ERP running the operations, RFID at the gates and kiosks, and a digital collection available at any hour.

To empower responsible and agile leaders by providing innovative, timely and comprehensive information resources and services that support business education, research and lifelong learning.
The collection, in print and online
Print holdings sit on open shelves in the reading hall. Digital holdings are available on campus and, through OpenAthens, wherever you are.

Programmes for incoming students and refresher sessions for seniors and research scholars.

Photocopying and printing within the Library, available on payment.

Scan on the shelf or at the display to reach a resource, a form or a guide directly.

Wi-Fi and ERP integration
Campus Wi-Fi throughout the Library, with borrowing records linked to your ERP account.
GIM Institutional Digital Repository
Research and learning are further supported through EBSCO Discovery Service, Turnitin, Grammarly, OpenAthens, Mendeley, and Scopus. The GIM Institutional Digital Repository (GIM-IDR), developed using DSpace, preserves and disseminates faculty publications, conference papers, book chapters, student projects, question papers, and event reports. Other services include reference and referral assistance, inter-library loan through DELNET, orientation programmes, WEB-OPAC, Wi-Fi, QR-code services, “Ask a Librarian,” reprographic facilities, and ERP integration.

Librarian Development Programme

Leadership Development Program for Librarians
A leadership track for senior library professionals, covering strategy, teams and institutional influence.
Annual Book Exhibition
Publishers bring their current lists to campus; students and faculty select titles for the collection.
National Librarians' Day
An annual celebration of the profession, with talks, awards and reports published afterwards.
